He prefers to go by Chessie instead of Chester. He is a sweet loving boy. His favorite thing to do in the world is to run in the backyard and check out all the birds and squirrels. He gets along great with his foster brother and sister. He has even lost some weight which was well needed from running in the yard. He is not so good on a leash so we are working on that almost everyday. He is VERY STRONG so its been quite the task but he is so smart that he will learn quickly. He loves to snuggle up in bed as well.
Aren't these flowers beautiful? They smell great ,too! They are from the little English Pointer that lives in my old neighborhood! She misses me already! Boy, did I steal her heart!!! But now, I need to work on stealing your heart!
Wouldn't you just love to cuddle with me? Throw a tennis ball to me? Go for long walks? I thought you would...I'll bet you know a nice dog or two that would love to have a playmate!
Chester is our newest IBR Setter addition. His current family had a death in the family and a subsequent move will not allow Chester to live in the apartment building. Chester has been a pet for the past 5 years and is house broken, well socialized and safe with children. He needs a fenced in yard and someone willing to take him for walks. This will be a difficult transition for Chester, but we are hopeful we can find him a new forever home.
